PM VISHWAKARMA SCHEME/ PM VISHWAKARMA KAUSHAL SAMMAN SCHEME 



Recently THE Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of 77th Independence day of  India,  made a crucial announcement about the Vishwakarma scheme designed to benefit traditional workers and craftsmen. The main purpose of this scheme is to boost the potential skilled  and economic status of traditional Craftsmen by providing them institutional and technological  support with the approachable access to the local and global markets




 
The PM Vishwakarma scheme is based on Vishwakarma Jayanti, a festival celebrated by Hindus. This scheme will be implemented on the day of Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrated on 17th September
Vishwakarma Jayanti, celebrated on the 17th of September each year, is a holy occasion that commemorates the birthday  of LORD VISHWAKARMA, the respectable and prestigious son of lord Brahma. on this day , Factory and shop owners engage in special religious Ceremonies ,
Seeking the blessings of lord Vishwakarma to ensure success and prosperity in their respective vacations.    



MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE VISHWAKARMA SCHEME

The Vishwakarma scheme aims to support traditional workers and craftsmen including Carpenter ,Boat maker, Blacksmith , Hammer and tool kit maker , Locksmith , Goldsmith, Potter,  sculptor, Cobbler , Tailor,  Barber , fishing Net maker , goldsmiths, Ironsmiths and masons with an initiative of budget allocation of Rs 13000- 15000 crore for Five financial years from  2023 - 2024  to  2027- 2028.

Eligibility criteria for PM  Vishwakarma scheme 

To take advantage of this scheme, first of all you have to fulfil the scope given below:
  • You must be engaged in traditional crafts and skills such as wearing carpentry, Blacksmithing, Ironsmiths and more.
  • You  should belong to the other backward classes (OBCs) category.

  • You must have a bank account linked with an Aadhar card.

Necessary Documents to Apply for Vishwakarma scheme.

 To apply for this scheme, you must have the following documents.
  • Aadhar card 
  • Identity card
  • Bank passbook
  • Residential proof
  • Income certificate
  • Mobile number
  • Passport size photo
The Vishwakarma scheme will be a very golden opportunity in  which people will be fulfilling the scope of this scheme. The initial target of this scheme is  professionals like goldsmiths, Ironsmiths, , hairdressers, and masons and the person who will belong to OBCs classes .
