From a four-team event, it has expanded to include a large number of the continent's cricket-playing nations. The countries of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, but the rise of Afghanistan and the revival of groups like the United Arab Emirates and Nepal have given the competition a novel twist.
